Coramsine shows promise for mesothelioma

Coramsine is derived from Devil’s Apple (Solanum linnaeanum) a native Australian plant. The extract itself is composed of two agents, glycoalkaloids solasonine and solamargine that work together as active cancer fighters.

The mixture was originally called BEC and was available as a topical treatment for sunspots before it was acquired and studied as a possible cancer treatment.

Coramsine was developed by the Australian company Solbec Pharmaceuticals using a noxious weed called Devil's Apple.
