Mission Statement

MesotheliomaWeb.org aims to provide a compassionate and authoritative resource to mesothelioma patients and their families. Our mission is to educate patients and their families by providing them accurate, up to date medical information and provide assistance on an individual level.

Since mesothelioma is a relatively rare cancer, patients and their families have an even greater need for accurate medical information. Under the guidance of experienced information specialists, we have developed comprehensive content that covers all facets of the cancer including symptoms, diagnosis and treatment. Some patients may wish to explore treatment options outside of their local area and our site provides lists featuring NCI designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers and specialists who have experience in treating mesothelioma.

Mesothelioma is a preventable cancer which is why our site aims to educate the general public about the dangers of asbestos exposure by providing tailored content for occupations at risk and common materials that may contain asbestos.
